Parador Caribbean Paradise
The road leading to this small inn in the town of Patillas is bordered by sugarcane fields stretching far into the distance. These crops were the basis of the island's economy during the nineteenth century. Today they are a perfect prelude to this quaint countryside inn. Only steps away from the shores of the sea that bears its name, the Caribbean Paradise Inn emanates an air of forgotten peace and tranquility that somehow seems to belong to a bygone era. The main tourist attractions of the area include such simple things as a visit to Punta Tuna with its dramatic view of the Maunabo lighthouse built in 1892 and today one of the few century-old lighthouses still in operation.
Our contemporary style restaurant gives you a family atmosphere. Delight yourself with one of our famous Piña Colada while waiting on your meal. Choose a Creole or international dish, our excellent chef will prepare for you a meal fit for royalty. You can also enjoy your meal out in our terrace, enjoying the ocean view and fresh air while you prepare your palate of a succulent meal.
Our swimming pool is designed for family enjoyment. Enjoy swimming, the fresh air in the gazebos or take advantage of the Caribbean sun and sun bath in our comfortable lounge chairs. We recently built a swimming pool for children so they too can enjoy themselves.
For your children's enjoyment, we have a recreational area with swings and a kid's pool so your child can enjoy a healthy environment. Besides giving them the opportunity to breathe the fresh and clean air, soon we will be opening a game room with a pool table, darts, and game machines.
We understand the importance of security away from home. Our Parador has private parking for our guests and we close the gates after 10:00pm. Should you need to enter after hours our guards will tend to you. We have emergency personnel available 24 hours in case an emergency may occur.
Enjoy the sun and fresh air. Sun bathe in our comfortable pool chairs. Prefer reading? Well get comfortable in the gazebo and read your favorite book. The pool too deep for the children? We just finished building one just for kids so they can swim as well.
